CES2017 New Year New Thinkware

CES2017 New Year New Thinkware

As with tradition, we always start off the new year at the annual Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. This year was a special one for both CES and Thinkware. On the 50th CES Show, we introduced a new top-of-the-line prototype model along with our dash cam accessories. Continue reading below for a preview of the new models, features, and accessories that await you later in 2017.

Meet the 2017 CES Innovation Award Honoree -- F800 Air

Say hello to the F800 Air. Dont let the sleek design fool you though, the F800 Air is actually packed with exciting new features for the most innovative dash cam experience yet.

The night time video quality on the F800 Air is unparalleled, thanks to its Sony Exmor STARVIS image processor and the introduction of Super Night Vision 2.0. Expect the same high level of video quality from the F800 Air any time of the day, regardless if youre driving or parked.

The award-winning prototype also comes with Thinkware Cloud, a concept feature that takes connectivity one step further. Not only will you be able to monitor your vehicle and review footage at your convenience, the Thinkware Cloud feature will also be able to send you a variety of notifications should anything happen to your vehicle.

As seen with our Super Night Vision 2.0 demonstration, the difference in night video quality
between the F800 Air and a competitor model is drastic.

Accessories for every driving need

The infrared camera accessory as shown a X550 dash cam.

Along with the current lineup of dash cams, we also showcased new consumer and commercial accessories catered to every driving need. Some of the accessories on display include:

Infrared Recording (IR) Camera

The combination of infrared technology and a 1080p resolution is exactly what is needed for recording the interior of your car.

F50 Locking Box
This anti-tampering case physically blocks access to the power cable and MicroSD card slot on the F50 to prevent unauthorized access to incident footage and information.

    External Battery

This external battery accessory can provide your dash cam with auxiliary power for up to 43 hours of Parking Surveillance Mode on a single charge.
